C’est la réhabilitation d’une ancienne filature plantée en plein centre-ville. L’architecture, prolongement léger et transparent, a joué le rôle d’un révélateur de l’espace et de l’histoire. Une porte, prolongée par un auvent tendu entre deux mâts, signifie la volonté d’ouverture sur la ville, sur le monde extérieur.

Rehabilitation of a disused textile mill in the town center, to
accommodate the archives. The architecture, a lightweight transparent extension, sympathetically reveals the space and its history; the entrance, reached under a canopy extension supported by a light metal frame, conveys a desire for openness, towards the town and also the external world.
