Alain Sarfati a été le lauréat de ce concours international en se démarquant par son audace et son approche stratégique de l’urbanisme. Pour lui, il faut éviter le piège systématique du plan masse et organiser cette ville nouvelle selon trois axes (distribution, culture, nature) qui vont donner une unité symbolique à la ville.

Alain Sarfati won this international competition, his boldness and strategic approach to urban design marking him out from other contestants. For him, it was necessary to avoid the classic trap of a single uniform plan and to organize this new development along three distinct lines (distribution, culture and nature) that would also bring a symbolic unity to the town.
