The center represents an innovative approach to the High Quality Environmental (Haute Qualité Environnementale, HQE) Standard: the concrete structure guarantees sound and thermal insulation, and offers protection from inclement weather. The outer shell ensures natural ventilation of the inner wall and protects from the sun’s rays, and also supports 300 m2 of solar panels.
